Family Stationery – Letterpress

Long awaited piece I’ve used this entire last year, but failed to post! These were designed to thank friends and family for celebrating our 10-year anniversary in 2014. I wanted something I could continue to use as letterpress stationery is not cheap, so I thought of sketching our home and some key icons that make our house distinctive… fence on the side, and our magnolia tree on our lawn. I hope to post some more detailed pictures of this, as Clandestine Press in San Francisco did an amazing job with these as usual!

stationery from your home… literally!

this last project I was able to work on in 2011 showcases a beautiful home and a very personalized stationery set with a monogram signature included in the design. The detail involved in this illustration was impeccable once it was letterpressed onto the paper- you have to see this card in person! my client wanted her home featured in her stationery set, along with a ‘handwritten’ feel of her & her husband’s initials. and, to make it even more custom, I drew an oak tree that could be found on her street to accent the house. sage green is her favorite color so that’s what we went with!
