A Robot Birthday- day 1

Today was the first day we celebrated Branden’s up and coming 4th birthday. In the robot spirit, Branden wore his “Branden” “4” robot t-shirt (purchased on Etsy.com) and I brought homemade cupcakes with robot flags and stickers for his friends at his park & rec class called Tiny Tots. I think he had a fun time, although he wanted more frosting on his cupcake and licked off every bit of the blue “4!” I had written on top.

More robot birthday fun tomorrow…

Strawberry Love Party Decor Wins!

I wasn’t fully aware of my second Minted win until it was time for me to design matching party decor templates and invitations for this theme.. but who doesn’t love strawberries (unless you’re allergic to them, I’m sorry!)?

I thought it would be such a fun way to celebrate a little girl’s birthday or even a theme for a bridal shower or summer party. See below for the matching party invitation to my party decor win on minted.com!

Inspired by my cousin’s son’s upcoming birthday party in May, I thought every boy throwing a bubble themed party would want a bubble gun! Vote on minted.com for this birthday invitation if you think it’s a winner!

Chic & Modern Red Egg & Ginger Invitations! (v2)

I just loved working on this project from last month because it reminds me of that time of year when as a Chinese kid, you would be showered with red envelopes… what other occasion than Chinese New Year? Well, for this variation of the red egg & ginger party AND birth announcement invitation, we used the same template as Chloe’s but changed up the colors and went all out with beautiful red envelopes to match. A perfect match for ones who want a modern twist to a traditional red & gold color scheme for a red egg & ginger party!

Oh, and of course matching seals for the trifold, perforated tear-off RSVP card on the left, the birth announcement with stats in the center, party details on the right flap, and a custom name in “blocks” and an additional picture on the back.

I hope you like these!

Hearts & Cupcake First Birthday Invitations

A recent project that was so much fun to do! The first year of life is full of so many changes, for the baby, for the parents, for anyone who knows the family! Here’s to celebrating the first huge milestone, and what better way to do it than to show how tiny they once were, with a picture of how they’ve grown to be ‘themselves’ at age 1. This invitation also has a little bit of a Chinese flair on the back, featuring adorable Lauryn in her Chinese outfit and her role in the family “Mei Mei” (little sister).

Happy 1st Birthday Lauryn!!
